Is It Normal For 15 Year Old Teen To Want To Stay At Home All Summer?
So my summer vacation just started(like a couple days ago!) and i feel really lazy, i just want to stay at home, I live in San Diego and there is plenty to do here, (beach, parks, plenty of malls to hang out at) and i’ve had friends callling to make plans and what not, and its not like if i can’t, my parents give me a reasonable curfew and trust me to go out and all that, but i just want to stay home. I know i’m not going to stay home ALL summer, i’m going to hang out with friends and go to the beach, and celebrate my birthday (in July btw), but i’d rather be at home, sleeping, watching tv, listening to music or working out. is this normal?
What Could I Do Over The Summer To Help Me Get Into Ucla?
Hi, I’m currently a high school junior, and I’m trying to figure out what to do over the coming summer to help boost my college application. I’m taking a program over at UCLA for a week in June, but I need to figure out what to do in July and August. What would you recommend? I really really want to go to UCLA and eventually become a lawyer. I will be 17, and I live in San Diego. I’ve been looking everywhere for internships, but they all want college students. I guess I could get a job, but I’d rather volunteer somewhere.
p.s.It would be best if my activity is somehow related to music or law, but I would appreciate any advice whatsoever. Thanks in advance!
Hot, Dry Weather = Bad For Stringed Instruments?
Well I live in San Diego and we’ve been getting a lot of hot dry weather like we usually do but it just gets hotter every year (literally). I’ve just bought a beautiful Violin for $1500 with a sound and tone worthy of a $9000 instrument (both in my opinion and the opinion of my friends and teachers), and a pretty good bow for about $150. I’d like to think that when I buy new instruments, im making an investment both financially and for the happiness of my musician life, what are some good steps to keep my Violin safe from extreme fluctuations and temperatures of weather? Especially dryness, I go to a summer music camp for orchestral musicians up in the mountains and next year will be the first with my new Violin and it is EXTREMELY dry up there, what are some good steps to ensure the well being of my Violin and bow? How can I maintain the great tone and sound that it still has now thats its new, for the longest time possible? Also, what are some good techniques to keep my wonderful strings in good-as-new condition? all answers are extremely appreciated 
How Long Will My Probation Last?also Q’s About Community Service.answer Please? :)?
Well,I didn’t do anything that bad like drugs,or fighting.
All this,because I’ve been absent to school without sending doctors note (legal excuse in other words) but i’ve been getting sick,just stating that.
Okay,I went to court.The judge said that I will get probation with a 6pm curfew.I’ve been trying to take care of myself more,and haven’t been absent for month now! Well,tomorrow (5/19/09) I need to go and meet with my probation officer,I don’t know what will happen.
1.Will he/she maybe go easy on me knowing that summer is right around the corner and take some time away from probation?
2.My grades are not that good,but my citizenship is (A’s and B’s) can that help me out?
3.Will she be following me around when I go out?
4.How will they know if I’m out after 6?
5.Will I get days off,like the weekends? (yes I’m very new to this)
6.What happens if I’m out after 6?
7.I can go out to places after 6 if it’s like a school program,sports team,etc.Can I go to Warped Tour? (Music concert)
8.Say the answer is no,but I still go.Would they find out? I mean,they can’t go in.Unless they pay their ticket.I highly doubt they would just to CHECK if I’m in there.
Okay,now community service part.

1.Can I just go somewhere and clean and get someone to sign the paper?
2. Will an officer assign me where to clean
3.Will an officer see me while I do community service?
4.Is there a way to get out of it? Like paying a fine?
5.Do I have to wear a suit before doing it?
6.I’m not planning on doing this but in case deadline is here,and I need more time: Can I cheat? Like going to my apartment manager and telling her to sign it saying I cleaned for X ammount of hours?

Generally speaking i’ve never known a scene/emo girl before. I’ve seen them around occasionally, but thats as often as seeing a shooting star. I live in San Diego so i know there has to be clusters of them somewhere. I know they go to shows alot but I don’t really like going to those kind of concerts, although i do listen to some of that music just as long as it’s not emo. So if anyone can tell me where they usually can be found and some good insight on them, that would be great.

If your Guatemalan living in So. Cali, I need to find a marimba. Most marimba groups, don’t make web pages or post an ad in the yellow pages. I’ve even tried cold calling any Guatemalan restaurants but haven’t had any luck so far. So now, I’m gonna try my luck on the word of mouth circuit.
I live in San Diego and work. With gas prices its really hard to find time and the $ to travel to L.A. or Inland Empire area. Even if I could, I wouldn’t know where to start looking. If you know where I should be looking, or who I could give a call, please help.

Okay, so my best friend and I have the same exact birth date so we want to have our party together. She’s turning 16 and I’m turning 17. We wanted to rent a limo, but we don’t know where we want to go or what we want to do. Also, our parents don’t have all that much money so it’s going to have to be kind of limited. Hi there. I live in San Diego and listen to a local station called Rock 105.3
Every Friday night from 10 to midnight, they play gothic techno and industrial music during a program called The Eleventh Hour, I usually listen because I love the music, but I often don’t know who the artists are.
Last Friday there was I song I absolutely loved but I don’t know who it was and I can’t seem to find the song based on the lyrics I can rememeber. It was very dark musically, almost Halloween sounding. The singer was female and here are the lyrics I can remember:

But sadly, I was in my car and couldn’t exactly write any more down, so that’s all I really have. Are there any music experts out there who can help me? ^^
Can You Help Me With Acting? I Am New Here.?
Hi… Okay, so this is how it goes. I REALLY REALLY want to act. The problem is, I have never acted before, and I haven’t found any acting auditions. We know a director from Hollywood, (because I live in San Diego, CA) and he said to get an agent. I had just moved here from Oxford, England in the UK and we had a brilliant drama class. Now… the school I go to, has a teribble one. I want to know if you are from San Diego, and know any brilliant acting places that i could check out? My mum and dad went to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. They have both been trying to look for a drama class!
