Perhaps one can try to find a toxicologist and look into testing to try to allay one's fears.
Please note that there is a website which aims at debunking a lot of dubious medical testing and 'cure-alls/panaceas' including mercury toxicity: http://www.quackwatch.org/01QuackeryRela…
Please also know that I'd asked a dentist awhile ago about my (amalgam) mercury fillings and whether I should have them replaced. He stated that I shouldn't really worry about them and that it may be more harmful for the integrity of the tooth if removing the amalgam filling (in turn possibly needing more dental work if tooth crumbles or such).

Yeah, I would suggest you go to the Planned Parenthood in Imperial and Euclid. They do free examination and keep everything confidential. Make sure before you walk in that you don't know the receptionist. You know how they like to gossip to their friend's and all. If you know someone that works at the Imperial and Euclid department, then I would suggest go to the one in El Cajon Blvd. Watch out for prositutes though....
