Without visiting the hotel one would assume that the age would be a disadvantage. However being one of the first destinations on the Embarcadero has given this hotel and its guest unsurpassed views of the Big Bay or Downtown Skyline. Even better is the fact that most rooms offer furnished balconies from which to enjoy the views or the bay breeze. The cruise terminal is directly across as is the USS Midway. The Gaslamp Quarter and Seaport Villager are within walking distance. Free Shuttle Service is provided to both, as well as the airport and zoo.
